Having a cohesive relationship with you and establishing communication is important to us and helps to simplify the project. We work together by listening closely to your desires and integrating them into a garden that reflects you. We pay special attention to detail, hand-pick the plants we use, and let the garden evolve. Daily updates are given and lead to a final walk-through of your new urban environment. We provide an optional seasonal maintenance program that keeps your garden healthy year-round.

Founder | Candace A. Fox
Candace A. Fox began Black Swan Decorating and Garden Design in 1998. Her focus was working with homeowners to create unique and warm home environments. In 2005, Candace and family moved to Boston's South End. An avid gardener for over 25 years, she redirected Black Swan to focus exclusively on urban gardens. She believes there is an unfulfilled need to create competitively priced, inviting outdoor spaces in Boston and is dedicated to designing, enhancing, and maintaining curbside, rooftop, container, patio, and deck gardens.

Candace is committed to continuing her education in the horticultural field. By combining sound gardening principles with years of experience, she can transform your outdoor setting into the retreat you have envisioned.

Candace is a member of the American and Massachusetts Horticultural Societies as well as the Massachusetts Nursery and Landscape Association.
